The NY City Hall subway station was TAKEN OUT of operation in 1945. It opened in 1904 as the flagship station for the new NYC subway system. In the mid-century subway platforms were lengthened and the steep curve of City Hall station made it unmanageable, so it was taken out of service. It is closed to the public and remains a ghost station to this day.
awesome pics nice work
People scroll down- so it makes sense to put a title BEFORE an image, not after it, yo.
if you have ever been on the Bund sightseeing tunnel you would know it is a dated, cheesy ride that lasts about 2 min. Compared to the other examples on this list, it is certainly not “awesome”.
Whoops. Forgot the Philadelphia stations. 30th Street, Suburban, City Hall, and Market East. All of which top anything on this list. Best subway system in the US.
The tunnel of the bund in shanghai is lame, idk why people make such a fuss about it… a tunnel with little light inside..
