When Airports Become Temporary Hotels (28 Pics)

The last airport I transited through was Dubai and I don’t remember ever seeing so many people sleeping in an airport, ever.

There were bodies everywhere. Men, woman and children were kipping everywhere and anywhere. If there was enough space to lay down you can bet there was someone spread out grabbing a few z’s.

As I strolled round looking for the bar I wondered how many of them would oversleep and miss their flight. My guesstimate was high if the level of snoring was a marker.
