Bristol International Balloon Festival (24 Photos)

Around 500,000 people attended this year’s free to enter Bristol International Balloon Fiesta, which celebrated the 50th anniversary of modern ballooning.

150 balloonists from around the world took part in the four day event which came to an end on Sunday evening, with the launch of 56 balloons in the second mass ascent of the fiesta.
