This set of photos taken at a Lantern Festival landed in my inbox courtesy of Brian in Sydney. Unfortunately there was no notes or info to go with them so I have no idea where or when they were taken.

They could have been taken at the Mid-Autumn Festival, which is also sometimes known as the “Lantern Festival”, in Singapore or Malaysia. Or from the festival of the same name celebrated on the fifteenth day of the first month in the lunar year in the Chinese calendar.

Either way, the photographs are stunning with amazing lantern replica’s of world famous landmarks such as the Eiffel Tower and Big Ben in London.
