Air Canada Allowing Pets On Board From July 1st

Air Canada has announced that passengers with dogs or cats will be allowed to take them on board as hand luggage.
The flag carrier, and its regional airline Jazz, will allow customers to book a space under their seats for a pet for travel from July 1. They will pay $50 (£30) for a domestic flight in North America or $100 for international flights.
If it wasn’t bad enough sitting on a long haul flight with screaming kids now passengers will have the added annoyance of barking dogs.
And how long will it be before some clown let’s wee pooch out his box and the four legged furball goes on a bender around the plane?
Let’s hope Air Canada are on their own with this idiotic idea and no other carriers follow suit.
