The seven star Burj Al Arab has become the worlds most famous hotel in recent years. It’s designed to resemble a billowing sail and stands 321 metres tall, dominating the Dubai skyline.

The Burj Al Arab stands on an artificial island beside Jumeirah beach and is one of the most expensive hotels in the world.

The cost of staying in a suite begins at US$1,000 per night; the Royal Suite is the most expensive, at US$28,000 per night.
