Picture Postcard From Kuwait City

After Iraqi forces retreated from Kuwait City at the beginning of 1991, the Kuwaiti government actively set about modernizing the city and turning it into a world-class business hub.

Many hotels, shopping malls and offices were built in a bid to transform the Kuwaiti capital into a 21st century city and from the ten images in this gallery it looks like they accomplished just that.
