YouTube Now Showing Feature Length Hollywood Films

YouTube has struck a series of deals with studios including Sony and MGM to show hundreds of classic films and television series on its website for free.

Hollywood films like the Sylvester Stallone hit Cliffhanger were made available from yesterday.

British users cannot access the films because of a delay over the international rights to the movies, which can only be downloaded in the U.S.

Website bosses said they hoped to expand the service to Europe, but said international rights had yet to be decided by film and television companies.
