Vodafone: No Roaming Charges For Three Months

Vodafone UK, the British arm of the world’s largest mobile phone company, announced that it is abolishing roaming charges to its customers for three months, starting June 1.
The offer is open to all existing Vodafone UK customers who register for the company’s optional free Passport service.

It means that Vodafone customers will be able to call home from within the EU, or within the same EU country, for the same rate they pay in the UK. The offer also includes text and picture messages.
“We expect this offer will be especially popular with families on holiday this summer,” said a Vodafone spokeswoman. “If you are in Paris, for instance, it will allow you to call a local restaurant on your mobile without paying high rates.”
