UK Government Security Site Hacked

Visitors to a UK Home Office website looking for information on anti-terrorist measures found themselves offered a very different kind of web-experience yesterday.

Hackers changed a link on the Office for Security and Counter-Terrorism‘s website, meaning visitors after information on a minister advisory service found themselves looking at a Japanese pornographic website.

Red-faced Home Office officials had to make a hasty change to correct the link after it was pointed out to them by the media.
