The Jaguar XJ220 is a mid-engined sports car produced by Jaguar in collaboration with Tom Walkinshaw Racing as Jaguar Sport between 1992 and 1994.

Ultima GT-R640

9. Ultima GT-R640 – 231mph

The Ultima GT-R640 is one of only two models in the Ultima range. Engines are supplied by American Speed, a company who specialise in re-engineering Chevrolet V8s for increased performance. It was with a 640 hp (480 kW) version that Richard Marlow was able to set a number of performance records in an Ultima GTR during 2005, this combination now being dubbed the Ultima GTR640.

TVR Cerbera Speed 12

The TVR Cerbera Speed 12, originally known as the Project 7/12, was a high performance concept car designed by TVR in 1997. Based in part on then-current TVR hardware, the vehicle was intended to be both the world’s highest performance road car and the basis for a GT1 class endurance racer.

The CCX was first unveiled on February 28, 2006 at the 2006 Geneva Motor Show by the Swedish car manufacturer, although its existence was announced earlier.

The Saleen S7 Twin Turbo is an updated revision of the original S7. Although the initial concept for the S7 incorporated twin-turbochargers, they were not used on the production car. The twin-turbocharged version later developed in 2005 went on sale for $585,296 USD.

Two hundred and twenty Bugatti Veyrons are known to have been built and delivered since production began in 2005 and ended in late 2008. The mid-engined full-sized grand tourer was developed by the German car-manufacturer Volkswagen.
