BlackBerry Curve 8520

Research in Motion, the company that makes the BlackBerry devices so beloved of businessmen, is trying hard to appeal to ordinary people.
The new Curve handset is its most universal BlackBerry yet: slim and compact, it has dedicated media keys to give users one-click access to their photos and music, which it can synchronise from an iTunes library; it boasts an optical trackpad rather than a trackball for navigating through menus; and you can download new applications and software from BlackBerry App World.
Of course, there’s also the instant email for which BlackBerry’s are famous, and a very usable Qwerty keyboard. By no means revolutionary, but appealing none the less.
Price: Free with contract (blackberry.co.uk).
