This ultra-portable range of laptops has plenty of clever features, such as the super hybrid engine, which helps to conserve battery power.

There’s also a smart login system based on facial recognition and an express boot-up function which means that commonly used programs will be ready to use less than 10 seconds after the computer is switched on.

The entry-level N10 model has a 10.2in screen, 2GB of memory and speedy Intel Atom processor, and runs a choice of Windows XP or Vista. It has built-in Bluetooth and Wi-Fi, and even a webcam for video conferencing.
