The gallery of a ‘Manga’ paintjob has brought me dozens of emails with people filling me in on all the facts and details, not to mention photos, about Japanese cars decorated with cartoon characters.

It turns out there’s a proper term for painting your car with cute anime girls and comic stars – Itasha.

Most of the anime characters of female with many of them taken from erotic manga style video games.

License owners of these cute cartoon girls are now cashing in by allowing professional companies to sell fully decorated cars based on their artwork.
