Japan’s Imperial Train – The Nagumo

In the 21st century only a few heads of state make travel by rail. Among the exceptions: Kim Jong Il, as well as monarchs in the Netherlands, Norway, Britain and Japan.
And perhaps only in Japan, the Emperor enjoys rail travel on a regular basis. In light of his preferred means of transport, in 2007 he was made a special luxury train nicknamed, Nagumo.
