FBI Shut Down Three Of The Largest Poker Sites

Three of the biggest names in internet poker have had their businesses shut down by the FBI. The owners of Full Tilt Poker, Absolute Poker and PokerStars, have been charged with bank fraud and money laundering.
In 2006, US Congress passed a law prohibiting online gambling but most of the leading sites found ways to work around the law using foreign banks and now prosecutors allege that in doing so these companies broke the law.
