Photo Special: Mercedes SLS AMG E-Cell

Here’s 20 pictures and a video of the working prototype of the electric Mercedes SLS AMG supercar.

The gull winged E-Cell concept comes in the unmissable AMG Lumilectric Mango – bright yellow to me and you packing a whopping 526bhp and 649lb ft of torque. It uses lithium polymer batteries to provide the grunt, and an electric motor propelling each wheel to transmit it to the road.

It looks and sounds pretty impressive.
