EA FIFA World Cup 2010 Preveiw

EA 2010 FIFA World Cup

It’s a World Cup year which means EA will be releasing a tweaked version of their recent football game FIFA 10. Many would argue that one sporting event should not warrant a completely new game but a proper World Cup mode with the qualifying rounds is hard to argue with especially when the game has every national team in it.

One of the tweaks made by EA is to enhance the crowd and the atmosphere which is certainly a great improvement on the crowds in FIFA 10. However improvements on the pitch are expected to be limited with the only noticeable difference being some extra celebrations.

A nice touch to try and improve the realism is during celebrations and other set-pieces during the game the camera will pan round to see the managers and subs bench of the two teams. This linked with improved player models will help greatly improve the visual of the game.

EA has confirmed all 199 nations that took part in 2010 FIFA World Cup qualification will be included in the game.

You will also be able to play the game online which is another reasons this game is not likely to disappoint when it’s released April 27th.

Here’s some live gameplay footage to give you a taste of what’s to come when
