How To Fix Windows Black Screen Of Death

windows

Security updates for the Windows 7 operating system have made some programs fail to load properly, causing the whole operating system to crash.

The problem is being referred to as the ‘black screen of death’, similar to the ‘blue screen of death’, an error screen shown when older Windows operating systems failed.

Security firm Prevx reckons there are many causes of the black screen issue and the symptoms are very distinctive.

After starting your Windows 7, Vista or XP PC the system appears normal. However, after logging on there is no desktop, task bar, system tray or side bar.

Instead you are left with a totally black screen and a single My Computer Explorer window. Even this window might be minimized making it hard to see.

If you have these symptoms you can safely try the free Black Screen Fix from Prevx.
