Andy Murray KO’d From US Open

Andy Murray described his straight sets defeat to Marin Cilic at the US Open as the most disappointing of his career.
Murray was well below par against the giant Croatian, whose 7-5, 6-2, 6-2 victory was ultimately comfortable. To make matters worse for Murray, the defeat allowed Rafael Nadal to reclaim second spot in the world rankings.
But the Scot refused to use an injury to his left wrist as an excuse for the straight-sets exit. The 22-year-old refused to go into details about the injury.
