Phillies End Yankees 9-Games Streak

The Philadelphia Phillies ended the New York Yankees’ nine-game winning streak with a 7-3 victory at Yankee Stadium.
The reigning world champions had 14 hits, including four home runs, while Brett Myers again pitched impressively to improve to 4-2.
Lead-off man Jimmy Rollins blasted a home run on the first pitch of the game from Yankee starter A.J. Burnett (2-2).
Catcher Carlos Ruiz hit a two-run homer in the second inning, Jason Werth homered in the fifth and Raul Ibanez blasted one into the right-centre field bleachers in the seventh off Wang Chien-ming.
Philadelphia improve to 23-17, the Yankees are now 24-18.
