Villarreal Draw 1-1 With Arsenal in UCL

Spanish Primera Liga side Villarreal drew 1-1 at home with Arsenal in the first leg of the Champions League quarter finals on Tuesday.
Villarreal, playing in front of its own supporters, had the better of the first 45 minutes.
That superiority was confirmed when Spain international midfielder Marcos Senna opened the scoring with a 25 yard shot in the 10th minute.
Woes continued with Arsenal as keeper Manuel Almunia and central defender William Gallas both had to leave the pitch due to injuries before the break.
The second half saw a shift of power and it was Arsenal that held the initiative.
In the 66th minute, Arsenal’s striker Emmanuel Adebayor chested down a Cesc Fabregas pass and acrobatically volleyed home to silence the home fans and giving The Gunners an all important away goal going into the 2nd leg next week.
