Bayern Munich – Fiorentina

Bayern are favourites going into this match because of their impressive 12 match win streak. Fioerntina on the other hand have not won in their last 5 games.

However, they should not be underestimated after beating liverpool twice to knock them out of the competition. Bayern have no injuries to worry about so Luis Van Gaal has a full squad of players for selection.

Fiorentina though are without centre back Alessandro Gamberini and Mauro Santana while striker Adrian Mutu is suspended by UEFA for failing a drugs test.

Porto – Arsenal

With Arsenal going through a rough patch, Arsene Wenger will want a good result to get their season back on track even though they have not been their usual selves away from home this season. Porto will be glad to welcome Hulk back into their squad for this game where they will want to take a good result into the second leg.

Aresnal will be without William Gallas, Alex Song, Andrey Arshavin, Manuel Almunia and Eduardo. Robin van Persie and Johan Djourou are also out for the long term. While Porto have no injury wories.
