Lyon – Real Madrid

Real Madrid were handed a massive boost after the fate of the La Liga title was put back in their own hands when Barcelona were beaten 2-1 by Atletico Madrid on matchday 22. Lyon will also come into this game on a high after beating Lens at the weekend.

Real Madrids injury list includes Guti, Pepe, Rafael van der Vaart, Christoph Metzelder and Jerzy Dudek. While Xabi Alonso, Iker Casillas, Marcelo and Lassana Diarra are all one yellow card away from a ban.

Lyon are without Anderson, Mathieu Bodmer and Francois Clerc. Anthony Reveillere is in the squad although he has been suffering from illness, Lisandro and Miralem Pjanic will miss the second leg if they are booked.

AC Milan – Man Utd

With the Serie A title slipping away from AC Milan every game that passes and having already being knocked out of the TIM cup, the Rossoneri will set their sights on the champions league. However the 7-time champions have another champions league contender in their path. Man Utd will want to make up for their 2-0 defeat in the final to a superior Barcelona taem last season.

For AC Milan, Mancini is ineligible following his recent move from city rivals Internazionale, as is Dominic Adiyiah after his move from Norwegian team Fredrikstad. Massimo Oddois out with a thigh injury and Marco Borriello and Thiago Silva are doubts.

Man Utd are without Nemanja Vidic, Anderson, Ryan Giggs John O’Shea. While Owen Hargreaves has been dropped from the champions league squad.
