French Fraud Henry Gives France A Helping Hand

Last night France went through to the finals of the World Cup in South Africa at the expense of the Irish after team captain Thierry Henry pulled off a move that Harlem Globetrotters would have been proud of.

He touch the ball not once but twice before crossing the ball into the path of William Gallas who scored.

The goal came in the first-half of extra-time, after Ireland had beaten France over 90 minutes thanks to Robbie Keane’s first-half goal.

With the first-leg ending 1-0 to France the game went into added time, and the home side grabbed victory in the most controversial of fashions.

I think this highlights how football lives in the dark ages and Sepp Blatter is ruining the game by not allowing TV technology to be used on the touchline.
