Steven Piennar Dismisses Exit Rumours

Everton midfielder Steven Piennar has said he is happy at Goodison Park in a bid to put an end to the speculation linking him with a move abroad.

The South Africa international has recently been linked with a move to German side Bayern Munich as a possible replacement for Franck Ribery should the Frenchman leave the club.

However, Pienaar has now moved to play down those rumours by insisting he is happy on Merseyside and claims the transfer speculation won’t distract him in the run-in to this season. “I can’t say anything because I wasn’t approached,” said Pienaar.
