Footballer Attacks Laughing Fan Over Red Card

A local football derby turned into a 20 man brawl after one of the players stormed into the stand and started punching a rival supporter who was laughing at his team mate being was red carded.

Lee Whetter sparked the brawl during a game between part time South West Peninsula League clubs St Austell and Newquay. He now faces FA charges and has been told he won’t play for St Austell again.

The funny thing about the whole incident is the player doing all the boxing wasn’t even the guy who was red carded.
