Rangers Pair Out Of Scotland Squad For Boozing

A breach of discipline by skipper Barry Ferguson and keeper Allan McGregor threatens to wreck Scotland’s World Cup hopes.
The Rangers duo have been axed from the team to face Iceland at Hampden – a match George Burley admits his side must win to have any hope of reaching South Africa 2010.
Disciplinary action has been taken in the wake of a booze session which ran from the early hours through to lunch-time at the team’s HQ at Cameron House after the squad flew back from Holland on Sunday.
Both players have since apologised to the manager.
