Vieira Leaving Inter At The End Of The Season

Internazionale midfielder Patrick Vieira has announced he will leave the Serie A champions at the end of the season when his contract expires.

It was presumed that the midfielder, who has been linked with a return to Arsenal and Tottenham most recently, would depart in January but Vieira insists he will honour his contract at Inter.

Vieira has made three league starts this season and the Frenchman is desperate for more first team football in a bid to secure a place in the French national team at next years World Cup.

All that’s left for him to do is decide is whether he will return to his homeland or the Premier League.
