Manchester United Sign Michael Owen

One time goal machine Michael Owen has surprisingly signed a two year deal with Manchester United after passing a medical yesterday (July 3).

The former England hero was available on a free transfer after his contract at Newcastle United expired at the end of June.

Alex Ferguson’s decision to sign Owen is a strange one considering he has only scored 26 Premier League goals in the past four years.
