Liverpool Thrash Manchester United 4-1
Liverpool kept their title hopes alive with a 4-1 victory over Manchester United at Old Trafford earlier today.
In a highly entertaining game, Liverpool came out victorious to close the gap at the top of the table to four points and put a few doubts in what appeared to be a stroll towards the league title for the Red Devils.
Liverpool’s win was the biggest home defeat inflicted on Manchester United in 17 years, and while the World Champions remain in pole position in the league – the result leaves United with a challenge on their hands.
