Jamie Carragher claims Liverpool can afford to drop points in the race for the Champions League because the battle for the top four is wide open.

Victory over Tottenham at Anfield on Wednesday has left the Reds just one point behind Spurs, who currently occupy fourth place.

Liverpool, who lost just twice during the whole of last season, have already been beaten seven times in the league during the current campaign.
