In Pictures: Becks Back At Galaxy

David Beckham lost his cool in his first match back in the States playing for L.A. Galaxy.

Sections of the crowd jeered and booed him, which is understandable after some of his comments relating to the team that pays his wages. If he had slated the team I support as a player I’d have done the same as some of the fans – booed him every time he was on the ball.

Beckham told Sky Sports he wanted to shake one fans hand whilst other conflicting reports suggest he was taunting the crowd.

Bottom line is Becks doesn’t want to play for Galaxy any more. In my opinion he was never interested in the football to begin with. It was all about press and publicity and now that he has succeeded in achieving what he wanted on that front he is desperate to return to the European game.

On the pitch Beckham had a hand in both Galaxy goals, scored by Alan Gordon and Bryan Jordan, as they twice came from behind to draw 2-2 with the Rossoneri. Thiago Silva and Filippo Inzaghi scored for Milan. Afterwards he hugged and chatted with the Milan players – the team mates he just left.

Victoria Beckham was pictured watching the game with Tom Cruise – now go back two paragraphs and read it again.
