Fergie Wants Vidic Next Season

Sir Alex Ferguson has brushed off suggestions Nemanja Vidic will leave Manchester United at the end of the season.

The Serbia international, who will miss the Champions League last-16 first-leg clash against AC Milan because of a nerve problem in his leg, has been linked with a summer switch to Tuesday night’s opponents and Spain’s big-spending capital club Real Madrid.

Reports that his wife is unsettled in England have also followed Vidic during a trophy-laden spell at Old Trafford.
