Football First – England v Ukraine Online Only

Sitting in front of your PC or taking a seat in the cinema to watch a game of footie doesn’t sound that appealing does it?

But those are the only options available to England fans who want to watch this weekend’s World Cup qualifying match against Ukraine.

The match is to be streamed live via the internet in a £4.99 pay-per-view set up via ukrainevengland.com.

In another first, fans will be able to watch it at selected cinemas, although I found it difficult to find concrete details for this option.

The lack of a TV broadcaster is due to the collapse of Setanta and the fact that the broadcast rights belong to the Ukrainian FA.

England have already qualified for the 2010 World Cup, winning all eight of their group matches.
