Dowie Begins With A Positive Mindset

New manager Iain Dowie has set his Hull players the immediate challenge of piling on the misery for rock-bottom Portsmouth.
Dowie, who on Wednesday was confirmed as the successor to Phil Brown, begins his Tigers reign with a six-pointer on the south coast against troubled Pompey, who have all-but been condemned to relegation to the Championship because of a nine points deduction for going into administration.
The 45-year-old has urged his players to think positively and believe they can go to Fratton Park and get a result.
