Donovan Hopeful Of Extended Everton Stay

American international Landon Donovan has appealed to his parent club LA Galaxy to let him stay at Everton for a further month.

The midfielder, who has impressed at Goodison Park on loan from the MLS side, is due back in LA following this weekend’s trip to Birmingham.

Blues boss David Moyes has admitted he could be powerless to keep Donovan beyond that game but the player himself has now appealed to Galaxy to extend his stay in the Premier League. “I would say there is a chance I could stay a little longer,” he said.
