Barca To Offer Messi £8m A Year Deal

Reports out of Spain yesterday suggested the European Champions, Barcelona, are to offer their star man Lionel Messi a new and improved wage deal that would see the 22-year-old earn a whopping £8million per year.

Barca are also keen to raise the buyout figure in Messi’s deal, which currently stands at £127m to £254m to scare offer any wacky transfer bids from certain cash laiden clubs.

The Argentinian international has spent his entire career at Barcelona having come through the club’s youth system but the temptation of a huge pay packet is obviously a concern to those in charge of the club.
