Advocaat Ready To Be Belgium Manager

Zenit St Petersburg coach Dick Advocaat is set to take charge of Belgium from January 1 according to the Belgian Football Association.

The ‘Little General’, who famously steered the Russian club to Uefa Cup final success in Manchester a year ago, will be out of contract at the end of this year.

Belgium have a slim hope of qualifying for next year’s World Cup finals in South Africa but realistically Advocaat will be looking to secure qualification for Euro 2012.
