80000 Real Fans Welcome Ronaldo

Cristiano Ronaldo was paraded by Real Madrid last night (July 7) in front of 80,000 fans at the Santiago Bernabeu.

I must have tuned in to Real Madrid TV just at the right time because after watching him skip round the walkway for a couple of minutes, out of nowhere a wild eyed fan got within a couple of feet from the winger.

If he’d made it past security it could have been the TV moment of 2009 because he didn’t look a happy camper.

After that I switched off but I will say this much. The looney fan was in the minority, the crowd couldn’t get enough of Ron, who was smiling and waving to the crowd as if he was Royalty.
