Vancouver Prepares For The 2010 Winter Olympics

The clock is counting down to the start of the Vancouver 2010 Winter Olympic Games. The games start on 12 February and run until the 28th.

Trucks have been shipping snow to Cypress Mountain from Allison Pass, about 150km away due to warmer temperatures.

“Cypress is the only venue that has presented us with a significant challenge,” an official said. “I don’t think there’s anyone here for a second who thought we would have a January with no snow, but we did”.
