In Pictures: 2010 Bahrain Grand Prix

Ferrari laid down a marker in the season-opening Bahrain Grand Prix yesterday with a one-two finish, led by Fernando Alonso (picture), who won in his debut for the legendary Italian team.
The Spaniard passed team-mate Felipe Massa at the second corner after the start before overtaking pole-sitter Sebastian Vettel on the 34th lap for a lead he would never relinquish.
After two frustrating years at Renault, Alonso really enjoyed the victory at Sakhir.
There was also the return of a legend, a union of two British world champions, the arrival of some new teams and faces, with a new rule forbidding refuelling during the race to boot.
Here’s 100 pictures capturing all the action from race day one.
