Shanna Goodhead – Another Possible X Factor Finalist?

Shanna Goodhead

Into week four of the X Factor 2009 and another couple of decent singers popped up.

The stand out for me was 18 year old student Shanna Goodhead who sang the Eva Cassidy classic ‘Songbird’.

My only worry is that girls have won the X Factor for the past two seasons and with the amount of skull duggery that takes place behind the scenes she might not get a fair crack at it as the producers put a dampener on her to allow the winner of their choice to take the prize.

Olly Murs was also a stand out performance with his funky rendition of Steve Wonder’s ‘Superstition’.

Sharon I was sat gobsmacked when I seen they’d sent her home – and they let those two wee plonkers with the spikey hair through.

The X Factor isn’t about music, it’s all about TV and I believe they already have in their minds around three acts they will push to win.

    The X Factor = rigged

Can’t believe Shanna did not make it. I would really like to know ,objectively what was the reason. I wondered if she would have been able to maintain her level of intensity but I think that should have been allowed to play out just as danyl has proven that he has limited vocal range and is more of a performer than a singer.

I hope to hear more about Shanna Goodhead. I cannot listen to her with out tearing up.
