Jonathan Ross Quitting The BBC

Controversial broadcaster Jonathan Ross has announced he is quitting the BBC after 13 years.
He claimed the move was not financially motivated. However, he had offered to take a 50 per cent pay cut.
Insiders at the corporation say this was not enough and that they had wanted to slash his pay by two-thirds to £2million a year.
Ross, who was suspended for three months last year over the Sachsgate scandal, said in a statement today that he had decided not to renegotiate his contract when it ends in July.
He currently presents the film review show for BBC1, Friday Night With Jonathan Ross, and, a radio show for BBC Radio 2.
