I’m A Celebrity USA Starts With A Bang!

Here in the UK we’re a week behind the US coverage of their version of the hit reality TV show I’m A Celebrity, Get Me Out Of Here! Not having heard much about it yet though I thought I’d tune in last night to see what it was like. Trust me, if you thought the UK version had its fair share of arguments and catfights then you’ll be shocked t the core by this brutal US show!

The celebrities were bitching before they even got into camp, and when they finally reached their new home for the next 3 weeks the reactions were not good! Spencer & Heidi Pratt, a husband and wife made famous by the reality show The Hills seemed to be under some kind of illusion that they were staying in 5 star accommodation turning their nose up in shock at the basic camp area and sleeping zone set out in front of them.

It was literally just hours later before they decided they were quitting, storming to the bush hut to rant and rave about how ‘celebrities’ shouldn’t be treated this way, even going as far as to call the NBC chairman to tell him exactly what they thought of him! Crazy…

After they had blown off some steam the couple had a change of heart and made their way back into camp to join fellow contestants

The evening saw the first ‘eating’ challenge in which a few of the contestants did really well and saw another strange attempt at leaving by Heidi and Spencer. Spencer later also went on to launch an attack on fellow camp members after they took their possessions thinking they would not be returning, he repeatedly got up in the faces of several of the women including Frances and Angela and was definitely doing his best at living up to his reputation as a ‘Bad Boy’ on The Hills…
