Gino D’Acampo Wins I’m a Celebrity 2009

Chef Gino D’Acampo was crowned King of the Jungle last night after a gruelling three weeks Down Under.

Hot favourite Gino edged out Queen of Clean Kim Woodburn in the finale of I’m A Celebrity … Get Me Out Of Here!

Snooker legend Jimmy White was third. Speaking to show hosts Ant and Dec, Gino described his victory as “fantastico”, his trademark word.

The animated Italian said: “I feel great. “I know that I’m going to be back to some kind of civilisation very soon – and I want to see my boys.”

Gino described his time in the jungle as “crazy and up and down”.
