A breakdancing pensioner who thrilled Britain’s Got Talent viewers with his body-popping is said to be claiming £70-a-week in disability allowance.
Fred Bowers, 73, who is receiving disability benefits as well as a free Ford Focus after persuading officials that he has an injured left leg is to have his claims investigated by the DWP.
However there was no sign of any injury when the grandfather flipped his legs and spun on his back in front of millions of viewers.
‘It’s common knowledge round here that Fred’s on disability benefits — he’s never made a secret of it,’ a stunned neighbour is quoted as telling The Sun.
