This is the publicity picture of chart topper Katy Perry posing with a three inch flick knife at her cheek that has caused a media backlash in Britain against the 23-year-old singer.

She has been branded an ‘idiot’ by The Sun and “out of her mind” by the father of a British knife-crime victim.

A source was quoted as saying, “The knife picture was done to give Katy more a sexy, harder edge”.

After months of hard work and so much positive publicity it looks like all that’s gone in a flash!!!
