The 82nd Academy Awards – List of Winners

The 82nd Academy Awards ceremony was hosted by actors Alec Baldwin and Steve Martin. This was the first telecast to have multiple hosts since the 59th ceremony. ‘The Hurt Locker’ won six Oscars, including Best Film Editing, Best Sound Editing, Best Sound Mixing, Best Original Screenplay, Best Director, and Best Picture. Jeff Bridges, who won the Academy Award for Best Actor for his role as Bad Blake in the movie ‘Crazy Heart’, said, “Thank you, mom and dad, for turning me on to such a groovy profession.”
