Pink Stars In New T-Mobile Trafalgar Square Ad
Pink was in Trafalgar Square yesterday with around 13,000 people to sing on the new T-Mobile advert – which will be running here on stickboydaily.com very soon.
The idea behind the ad is a mass sing-a-long with the audience singing karaoke style to a handful of classic hits such as “Summer Nights” and “I Say a Little Prayer”.
Halfway through the crowd’s rendition of the Erma Franklin hit “Piece of my Heart”, Pink popped up as a surprise guest so sing her hit “So What”. As you can see in the clip below the crowd went wild when they realised it was the pop star herself.
The previous T-Mobile viral advert, The Dance, has become an online sensation on YouTube, attracting more than 11 million hits.
The new commercial premieres during the break of Britain’s Got Talent on Saturday, May 2 at 9pm on ITV1.
